Khanom Power Plant within EGCO Group receives 2nd CAC renewal certification for proven policy to anti-corruption
Khanom Power Plant within EGCO Group, represented by Mr. Nares Chookird, Managing Director of Khanom Electricity Generating Company Limited, received the second CAC Renewal Certification from the Thai Private Sector Collective Action Against Corruption (CAC). The CAC Certification Ceremony 2/2024 was recently held at the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.
EGCO Group's Khanom Power Plant received its CAC Certification in 2018, followed by the first renewal in 2022. This continued certification reaffirms the power plant’s commitment to corporate governance, transparency, accountability, and its zero-tolerance policy toward both direct and indirect corruption. The power plant has rigorously implemented these principles to ensure responsible corporate practices and fairness in its dealings with stakeholders, thereby contributing to the sustainable growth of Thailand's business sector.
Khanom Power Plant within EGCO Group has officially published its policy and practice guidelines on zero tolerance toward corruption, complaint handling, and the prevention of conflicts of interest on its website. These measures ensure that business operations with potential risks are carefully assessed and managed. Additionally, they reinforce the power plant's corporate culture, which firmly asserts that “zero tolerance towards fraud and corruption in conducting business with the government and the private sectors.”
