EGCO Group Donates 1 Million Baht to CU Engineering Innovation Fund to develop “CU-RoboCOVID”
Electricity Generating Public Company Limited or EGCO Group helps fight against the COVID-19 pandemic by donating THB1 million to Chulalongkorn University’s Engineering Innovation Fund. The funding will help develop and build the innovative robots and medical support devices under the “CU-RoboCOVID” Project. The Project will use machines to support medical personnel on the front line to reduce the risk of infection and increase their efficiency in combating the contagion. The robotic machines include “Delivery Robot” for delivering food and medicine to patients, “Telepresence Robot” for remotely communicating between doctors and patients, “Static Telepresence” and “Ambu Bag” or ventilator robot.
