Electricity Generating Public Company Limited or EGCO Group successfully completed the divestment transaction of Eastern Water Resources Development and Management Public Company Limited (East Water), immediately recognizing the proceeds worth THB 5,226 million.

Mr. Jakgrich Pibulpairoj, President of EGCO Group disclosed that “EGCO Group completely transferred its entire stake of 18.72% in East Water to Manila Water Company Inc. in the Philippines on March 14, 2018. Consequently, EGCO Group would immediately recognize the proceeds from the divestment transaction worth THB 5,226 million which was planned to use for further business expansion.
