Electricity Generating Public Company Limited or EGCO Group recently held an official opening ceremony of Klongluang power plant which was presided over by Mr. Monsit Phaisanthanawat, Deputy Governor of Pathumthani Province (center), and Mr. Chanin Chaonirattisai, Director, Acting President of EGCO Group (3rd from left), at Klongluang power plant,  Klongluang District, Pathumthani. The power plant with total installed capacity of 121 MW has started its commercial operation since July 20, 2017. It is driven by the cogeneration system and fueled by natural gas, and sells its 90 MW electricity output to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) under a 25-year firm PPA for SPP scheme while the rest of the output has been sold to the industrial users.
