Ms. Siriracht Wongpiya, ECCO Group’s SVP - Corporate Communications, said, “EGCO Group has integrated sustainability into all aspects of its operations, particularly the regions where we do business. This includes promoting biodiversity and the conservation and restoration of Thailand’s major watershed forests. These efforts are part of our roadmap toward becoming a low-carbon corporation. Additionally, EGCO Group ensures transparent, equitable, and equal manner in information disclosure through all of its formal communication channels, including the One Report, Sustainability Report, website, Facebook, and more. This allows stakeholders and the general public to efficiently and continuously monitor the company’s sustainability activities.”

The Sustainability Disclosure Award is held annually by Thaipat Institute to raise awareness and encourage listed companies and business organizations that are members of the SDC to prioritize the disclosure of information, including ESG activities. This initiative not only demonstrates the organizations’ commitment to sustainability but also provides benefits to their stakeholders. Additionally, it aligns with SDG 12.6, which “encourages companies, particularly large and multinational ones, to adopt sustainable practices and integrate sustainability information into their reporting cycles.” In 2024, a total of 144 SDC member organizations received this prestigious award, including 58 organizations receiving the Sustainability Disclosure Award, 57 organizations receiving the Sustainability Disclosure Recognition, and 29 organizations earning the Sustainability Disclosure Acknowledgment.
